A 1-inch sandblasting nozzle holder is a component used to securely attach a sandblasting nozzle to the end of a blast hose. It plays a crucial role in sandblasting systems by ensuring a stable and leak-proof connection between the hose and the nozzle, enabling safe and efficient abrasive blasting operations.

Sizing & Fitment

  • Hose Compatibility: The “1-inch” specification means it slides externally over a blast hose with a 1″ Internal Diameter (ID). This typically corresponds to a hose with an Outer Diameter (OD) of 1-1/2 inches to 1-7/8 inches. [1]
  • Nozzle Thread: It utilizes a standard 1-1/4″ NPS (National Pipe Straight) female fine thread to accept matching threaded sandblasting nozzles.

 

Installation Method

  • External Friction Fit: The blast hose is inserted straight into the smooth end of the sleeve.
  • Retaining Screws: It comes packed with small sheet-metal screws (seen in the clear bag). These screws are driven through the pre-drilled holes on the holder’s shell to bite firmly into the thick outer rubber jacket of the hose, preventing it from blowing off under high pressure without puncturing the inner air tube.
